Every piece leaves the studio once — then it's gone forever.
New
Volcanic ash & mineral glaze over hand-thrown stoneware. The surface shifts from smoke to bone in changing light.
Collector's Pick
Ocean mineral glaze with exposed raw stoneware at the rim. No two pieces catch light the same way.
Signature Piece
Pauline's largest vessel — layered desert ochre and tidal ash glaze. A centrepiece built to outlast trends.
New
Raw clay body left intentionally unglazed below the teal oxide crown. The tension between earth and glaze is the point.
Featured
Hand-pinched at the rim, volcanic mauve glaze pooling deep at the base. Signed on the foot. Perfect for fruit, keys, or a slow morning.
Rare
Sky blue wash over dark-fired wide stoneware. Serves beautifully, lives just as well on any wall.
New

"My vessels are created to live with you — born from the tension between control and spontaneity."
— Pauline, Hemmingford studio
My work begins with the vessel — formed through wheel throwing, hand building, or both. This allows me to move between simplicity and bold, expressive texture. The subtle nuances that invite closer observation.
I treat each vessel as a painter's canvas — an opportunity to explore colour, brushstroke, movement, and surface through layers of my own glazes. I seek the tension between control and spontaneity, letting abstract expression emerge across the clay.
My vessels are made to live with you. On a windowsill in the warmth of the sun. As a table centrepiece. As a quiet sculpture in a garden surrounded by flowers. Light, space, and environment become part of each piece's story.
No two are the same. Every vessel carries its own character, shaped by hand — made to feel as though it was created just for you.

Commission a Piece"I bought the Earth Sphere on a whim and it completely changed my apartment. Every single person who visits asks where it's from. Worth every penny."
"Arrived wrapped so beautifully I almost didn't want to open it. The glaze is unlike anything I've seen — it looks different in morning light than at dusk. Genuinely magical."
"Gifted the Rose Bloom Bowl to my mother for her birthday. She cried. It's become the centrepiece of her kitchen. Pauline's work carries real emotion."
Pauline accepts a small number of custom commissions each season — wedding table sets, heirloom vessels, a glaze colour matched to your kitchen. If you feel it, say it.
